On April 13, the Montrose softball team faced off against Gann.  Montrose players improved as the game progressed.  They dealt with Gann’s new pitcher and talented catcher, supported by a skilled infield.  However, in two back-to-back innings, the Montrose infield managed to get three outs within the first three batters, including a strikeout pitched by Captain Mary Korzenowski ‘17.  Even though the temperature dropped to what felt like -10℉ in the last inning, Montrose fought for 12 more runs which led them to win 29-22!
