Treblemakers Update

Treblemakers+Update

On December 5th, the Treble Makers made a star-stop at the Lowell Mason House fundraiser Christmas Party in order to share some joy and talent with the Medfield community.

The Treble Makers have also made appearances at Open Houses, Father Dick’s 90th Birthday celebration, the GALS Conference on November 6-8, and the Mother-Daughter Brunch earlier this fall.. They’ve planned some old favorites for all of those attending. Sophomore Nora Clancy says, “I’m really excited to share some of our favorite songs with girls from all over the world. There are so many talented girls that share in the joy of a cappella, I can’t wait to spread that joy internationally.”

As the Christmas season approaches, get ready for a whole lot of Christmas carols. Vicki Driscoll ‘19 explains how “a cappella is really great because it gets you in the mood for the holidays by singing fun songs.” Truly, the Christmas Spirit is all in the music. The first of many Christmas events for the Treblemakers is the Angel Run. Singing on a street corners, Montosians carol as they cheer on the participants in the race.

Another Christmas favorite is, of course, Christmas caroling at Legacy Place in Dedham. Kate Wahle ’16 quoted Buddy the Elf in an interview and said, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” That’s exactly what the Treblemakers intend on doing this Christmas.

As always, attend the Christmas concert this coming December for a lively celebration of Christmas excitement between the Middle School, the Upper School, and the Treblemakers. Be on the lookout for more Treblemakers news to come.
