Sarah Lange has been a faithful and strong leader of the Looking Glass this year as the Assistant Editor-in-Chief. Sarah will be attending Hillsdale College and will be studying Economics and Politics as a double major. She started at Montrose in the 10th grade. Her fondest memory was how kind everyone was to her when she transferred as a sophomore. She shared how she loved having the opportunity to attend Mass so often and grow in her faith while being at Montrose. One thing Sarah shared that she will miss about Montrose is wearing the uniform. She appreciated how easy it made her mornings, and she said that having to come up with outfits every day at college feels a bit intimidating now!
The quote Sarah lives by that her Mom has been telling her since she was a little girl is “Let Go and Let God.” The special piece of advice Sarah would like to pass on is: although you might not think so at the time, high school goes by so so quickly, so make sure to live in the moment and take it all in.
Sarah has made an impact on the Montrose community through her friendship and leadership, whether it’s in the classroom, in the Looking Glass meetings or on the tennis court. Sarah was influential in the startup of the Montrose Tennis Club, and I am so thankful for all the time and effort she put into finding court space and organizing rides.
I am so thankful for Sarah and the time I’ve had with her these past two years together at Montrose. I am so sad to see her leaving, but I’m excited to see all that she will do in college and beyond. Good luck and God be with you, Sarah!
