Enjoy a delicious, nutty treat that melts in your mouth! This homemade dessert is easy to make and tastes a lot like a Reese’s!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of peanut butter
1/2 cup of softened butter – unsalted, but if salted then omit the salt
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4-5 cups of powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Festive sprinkles (optional)
RECIPE:
Line an 8- or 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper
In a medium bowl, add the peanut butter and butter and blend together until smooth. Then add the vanilla and salt and blend as well.
Now slowly add the powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time, scraping the sides of the bowl with a spatula as you go.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press in an even layer.
In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir. Repeat this process again two more times, stirring thoroughly.
Pour melted chocolate over peanut butter in a pan and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, and store in the refrigerator until serving.
Enjoy!
