Divine Mercy Sunday and Confession Announcement

If you pulled into the Montrose parking lot this past Sunday between 1:00 and 4:00 PM, you would have seen a longer line of cars than you see at 3:15 on a normal school day. Correction: more like between 1:00 and 4:45. You read that right: Father John and Father Jeff stuck around to hear Confessions and offer spiritual guidance well past the 4 o’clock official ending time. I think the special graces of Divine Mercy Sunday flowed not only over those who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation nor only on those who listened to the spiritual guidance of the priests but also on the priests who let God perform the Sacrament through them and who offered their wisdom.

However, don’t be frightened away by the long line of last Sunday; Confessions should be offered weekly in the future. So come to our favorite parking lot on any future quarantined Sunday between 1:00 and 4:00 PM and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, spiritual guidance, or both. A big thank you to our wonderful priests, Father John and Father Jeff, and to all those who organized this for us!
