Toast Pizza Recipe
Recently, I started getting bored of my school lunches. Each day was the same- a Peanut Butter sandwich or pasta. So, I had an idea to switch things up a little. I grabbed some tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni, but there was one thing missing: dough. While I searched everywhere for some pizza dough, there was none to be found. I had the idea of making my own pizza dough, but it was 9 o’clock at night and that would take way too long. So instead, I had the bright idea to use toast.
Ingredients:
Tomato sauce
Cheese (mozzarella works best)
Bread slices
1 tablespoon butter
Basil or parsley (optional)
Toppings (optional)
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a bowl with parsley until it turns into liquid.
- Spread the butter over the bread slices and toast bread in a toaster or oven until it’s brown on the top.
- Remove the bread from the toaster and put tomato sauce, cheese, and any toppings on the pizza.
- Put the pizza back in the toaster or oven till the cheese is melted and it looks cooked (usually 3-6 minutes).
- Remove the pizza from the oven
- Enjoy!
