petals; petals,
lonely petals
falling, falling⎯ falling free
breathless⎯ breathlessly
lonely; lonely
petals only
fall and fall; fall faint and free
‘neath the cherry tree
only; only
love is boldly
blossoming in blackbird skies⎯
whispering goodbyes,
whisper; whispered
wind that missed her,
hushed near to hear her mourning,
note every warning
in full bloom or winter sleeping,
till her doom, forever weeping…
