Swiss Miss Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
It has been freezing lately, and everyone around the school has been complaining (mostly me). So, I decided: we all need a cookie recipe that will bring warmth to our hearts, souls, and stomachs. Thus, I formulated and tinkered about and created the hot chocolate-chocolate chip cookie recipe made with Swiss Miss cocoa powder. Buy some hot cocoa mix, bake yourself some cookies, make some hot chocolate, and ENJOY!
Ingredients:
¾ cup butter, room temperature
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs, room temperature
4 packets of hot cocoa mix
2 ¼ cup AP flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit
- Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla extract together until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time
- In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients
- Add dry ingredients to wet and combine
- Add chocolate chips
- Form 2 tablespoon balls of dough and lay 2 inches apart on a lined cookie sheet
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned
- Enjoy!
