Dancing leaves
Blowing in the wind
Twirling
Swirling
The season away
Tips of
Golden yellow and crimson red
Floating in the breeze
Round and round in circling curves
Waltzing
The season away
Fluttering flyers
Drifting past
Down to the ground
As it blankets the floor
Covering
The season away
Crisp sheets
Crinkling together
In mountainous strands
Shoveled and stacked
Piling
The season away
Soon
Slowly but surely
They disappear
Taking
The season with them
And ushering in
The next
