The Mavericks proved victorious yet again against Brimmer & May after last week’s season opener against Providence Country Day School, a second first season match-up for the two teams.
The Varsity Captain, “Megan St Martin, encouraged the team with her words and example,” said Coach Blackburn. Blackburn added, “The team has outstanding players led by expert coaches in Ms. Nolan and Mr. Conroy.”
Last week, the JV1 played valiantly, but came up short against Beaver Country Day’s dominating play. JV2 had a rousing victory against St. Mary Margaret this week.
