Towns with something for everyone:

- For an easy hike, I recommend Cady Hill Forest and for a medium level hike, Sterling Pond. For a hard hike, I suggest Haselton Trail.
- Fun activities include ziplining at Arbortrek Canopy Adventures, mini golfing at Stowe Golf Park, and visiting the Trapp Family Lodge—as in the Von Trapps of the Sound of Music!
- In downtown Stowe, you can find Shaw’s General Store, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, the Old Depot, and the Bear Pond Books Store.
2. Woodstock, VT: Woodstock is another great visit to make this fall! It has great local farms, amazing fall events, and of course lots of opportunities for apple picking. It’s another wonderful destination where you can experience beautiful scenery and go on great hikes!

- Boston College
- Harvard
- Your local high school
- Our brother schools, like Xaverian or Catholic Memorial
Coffee Shops: There’s truly no better fall activity than grabbing a nice pumpkin spiced latte and a bite to eat in a cute cafe with a friend!
- Ashlawn Farm Coffee
- Located in Old Saybrook, CT (455 Boston Post Road)
- This has been one of my favorite visits whenever I’m down in CT. The atmosphere is great, and they always have new specialty drinks that are so good!
- There’s also a store inside that sells different varieties of coffee beans and cute merchandise!
2. Petulas
- Located in South Boston, MA (81 L Street)
- Petulas is also a restaurant, but in its early hours they have delicious specialty lattes, great breakfast sandwiches, and even acai bowls.
