Have you ever met Kelly Ladino? If you have, you most surely won’t forget this wonderful experience. When you meet Kelly, or even talk to her, your day is full of a little more joy. Kelly is such a wonderful person—sixth graders through seniors adore her.
“Kelly is the nicest person ever on the planet Earth,” shares Heran Wang ‘31 most passionately.
Heran loves seeing Kelly in the halls. Kelly, though Heran is much younger than her, is still kind and welcoming all the same. She always says “Hi!” in the halls, and it really makes your day!
Kelly loves to sing and fills her music with her heart and soul. Kelly and her older sister, Kate, are proud and valued members of the Treblemakers. Kelly is an extremely good singer and is always passionate about her songs. Kelly actually did a singing piece in the coffeehouse—and left the audience in awe.
“Kelly is an amazing singer, just like her sister Kate. When I see her in the hall, I am overjoyed. She represents Montrose in amazing ways, and if I could write my Montrose essay on amazing people all over again, I would write about her.” — Molly Sheehan ‘31
“Kelly is a literal ray of sunshine. She cares so much about everyone and always gives you a smile in the hallways. She lives in Jesus and it shows.” — Maria Silveyra Dodds ‘26
“Kelly Ladino is someone who embodies the spirit of what Montrose stands for. She almost single-handedly fosters and maintains community, especially between the upper and middle school students. She is a definite example of the habits of mind, heart, and character.”

Kelly most certainly is what Montrose looks for through admissions. She is kind, humorous, friendly, and full of spirit. Kelly is what people dream of being when they grow up. She makes you say, “Wow. I want to be a little more like her today,” or “When I’m a sophomore, I wanna be like her.”
“Kelly is such an amazing girl. From her faith to her enthusiasm, she is amazing through and through. She is always the sweetest person to drop everything and give you a hug or a warm smile and “Oh hi!! How are you?” In the halls. Kelly brightens my day every day and she is the comforting face I love to see every day!” — Violet Krawieki ‘30
Who is Kelly? Kelly is kind, friendly, playful, inclusive, and a true inspiration to us all.
