The sky on a sunny day.

It’s blue, she thought. Oh wait, that’s the sky. She was on her back; blades of grass surround her. There was no wind. She lay content for a moment, but all too soon, the perfect picture was shattered as a loud booming filled her ears. She recognized the distinctive gait of soldiers and the harsh sounds their voices made. Her vision sharpened in panic and she felt sick and dizzy. She tried to move, but couldn’t. The red stain blooming across her chest revealed her silent, stone-cold heart. But then again, her heart was already frozen, right? The End
