At the club fair, I was thinking about all the clubs I was going to sign up for. In the end, I had fifteen clubs in my head before I realized that was too many clubs. There was no way I could fit them into my schedule! So, I narrowed it down to five clubs. Because you probably don’t want to be reading this article forever, I wrote about just three of the clubs I joined.
I went to The Knitting Club table first because I have always wanted to learn how to knit. I figured that once I learned how to knit, it would be very relaxing, and I could take it wherever I go. I was a little nervous because I thought that it might be too hard to learn, but when they taught me, it was so easy. I am getting the hang of it already! One more thing that I love about The Knitting Club is that someone is always playing the piano, giving it a very relaxing vibe. I highly recommend it for anybody who wants to learn how to knit or just have a break during the day.
The next club I joined was The Fashion History Club! I joined The Fashion History Cub because I love fashion. However, I wondered what we were actually going to do. It turns out that we would learn about how certain fashions originated. I was like “that is so interesting!” and when I went to the first club meeting, it was interesting. We learned about the history of Barbie’s fashions and got to look at different styles of Barbies from different time periods. Even if fashion isn’t your favorite thing, discovering all these cool facts was very fun, and I can’t wait for the next club meeting!
Then I signed up for The Board Game Club. I love playing board games, so why not join The Board Game Club? I am able to bring in my favorite board games, and I get to play games that I never knew existed! These new games that I play are so fun, and they are now some of my favorites. I haven’t won a game yet, but I am hoping I do soon because if you win, then you can pick out your own prize! Board game club is a great way to diffuse from the busy day after school and make new friends.
I hope you enjoyed my insight into all of these clubs and help you decide on what clubs to join at the next club fair!
