On Friday, September 16, the Montrose Varsity Field Hockey team drove to Concord Academy to play in their first game of the 2016 season. The girls played vigorously together and persevered throughout the full game, but unfortunately lost 4-0. On the field, goalie Molly Bowman ‘18 stunningly saved many goals and dove to save many balls.

With admirable sportsmanship, the Mavericks congratulated Concord Academy and headed for the bus back to Montrose. Their next game is Friday, September 23. Good luck, girls!
