This year, the Montrose middle school musical is Willy Wonka Jr. So many people expressed interest in the musical, giving it a large and talented cast, starring Ainsley Shannahan ’28 (as Willy Wonka), Maria Noronha ’28 (as Charlie), and Ellie Fujawa ’28 (as Grandpa Joe). 

Mrs. Rios, Mrs. Juge, Mrs. Nicholson and the cast have been working hard since early September. The show is full of big singing and dancing numbers that will show off their hard work and dedication. In the last few weeks of their rehearsals, the cast is cleaning up scenes and running through music and choreography, making sure everyone will perform to the best of their ability. 

This year, many new girls went out for the musical, so for returning students, it gave them the opportunity to work with new people! There is no doubt the show is going to be great and full of amazing actresses.

The show will fire up your imagination and make you want a lifetime supply of chocolate!  The performances are right around the corner on December 8th and 9th! Make sure to come support the cast on either of these nights!
