The Montrose JV soccer team has gotten off to a great start! So far they are undefeated, beating LCA 8-0, Commonwealth 6-0, and Gann 5-1. The team is led by coaches Ms. Skehan and Ms. O’Malley.
This year, so many people expressed their interest in JV soccer, making it the first time Montrose had to hold a tryout for JV soccer, and cut around half of the people. The team works very well together and has a lot of fun! Although the rain prevented the first few practices and games, the sun is finally shining for beautiful soccer weather!
“We’re off to an awesome start this year! We’ve won both of our games and [we] are excited to face more challenging teams as the season goes on!,” said Grace Lynch ‘29.
As you can tell, the Montrose JV soccer team has a very bright future! Shout out to Abby Biggins for being an amazing goalie for the team!
“JV soccer has been a blast! Ms. Skehan and Ms. O’Malley make games and practices competitive, but also just a good time!,” said Lucy Tierney ‘28.
