JV field hockey played seven awesome games resulting in four loses and three victories! Sadly, our LCA game got canceled due to rain, but we got two games added to our schedule against Wrentham Warriors and St. Columbkille. We had 17 amazing players consisting of sophomores, freshmen, 8th graders, 7th graders and 6th graders. Our great coaches were Mrs. Watkins and Ms. Pagnanelli. The team worked super hard, and these were our stats: our four losses were to NCDS (5-0), Charles River (1-0), Charles River (1-0) and Wrentham Warriors (3-0). Our three wins were against Lexington Christian Academy (0-1), St. Joseph School (0-1), and St Columbkille School (0-4). Lastly, we had a hard fought game against NCDS that resulted in a 5-0 loss. They were tough opponents, but we held them off and did a fantastic job. In our Wrentham game, it was cold, wet and we were challenged by an amazing team. Despite their skill, we got some amazing breakaways and shots on the goalie. Whenever we played a home game and the Varsity field hockey team didn’t have a game, they always came up to the field to cheer us on. Both Montrose field hockey teams cheered each other on, displaying the comradery of the school. We had a really good season with a mix of losses and wins and made many fun memories together.
