One week ago, the 7th Grade had a talk about friendship led by Lovey Moore ‘24, Katrina Landry ‘24, and a couple other 12th graders from the Psychology club. They were friendly and encouraging as they told us what they wished they could tell themselves when they were our age. Then, we moved on to an activity that helped me open up about the feelings that I’ve taught myself to bottle up, which was a result of getting bullied at my old school. The experience of letting my emotions out was a lot to talk about and really hard for me, but the 12th graders and my friends in my rotation group helped me open up. This experience was incredible and I hope the 12th Graders will do this again for the 7th Graders. Maybe it could turn out to be a Montrose tradition someday!
