Who is Kate Ladino? Kate is a kind, intelligent senior. Kate is one of those people who are so alive in their spirit and are so cheerful that they brighten everyone’s day. Kate is extraordinary. She came to Montrose in her sophomore year of high school, but it seems as though she has always been here. The senior class of 2025 can’t remember a time without Kate.
“Kate is one of the most compassionate and optimistic people I have ever met. She is kind to everyone she meets and never judges you for being who you are. As a cross country captain, she was so encouraging when workouts were challenging and always cheered on her teammates. Likewise, Kate’s talents as a singer are both impressive and inspiring. At the end of sophomore year she admitted: ‘you know I didn’t really know I could sing, until…this year’ You can imagine my surprise when she told me this! I thought she had grown up taking singing lessons based on her vocal range and diversity in song choice. In essence, Kate is a warmhearted, generous friend with many gifts and talents she shares with the world.” — Kate Regan ‘25
Kate is a valued member of the Treblemakers and had a solo at Lessons and Carols that left the audience spellbound. She is an amazing singer, as Kate Regan mentioned, and is good enough (in my humble opinion) to become a world-famous professional singer. Kate is not only extraordinarily talented in the singing part of the arts, but also in actual art itself. If you happen to walk into Room 2 (the art room) you will see two impeccable pieces of art. One is a drawing of a beautiful girl—made out of dots! This is extraordinarily impressive, and is certainly something to feast your eyes on. The second piece of art is a beautiful drawing of a spilled bag. It has e.l.f. makeup, mascara, and more fun things. Both of these pieces are beautiful.
Kate is not only talented in art and music, but she is an excellent person. She is kind, welcoming, and sweet. Kate truly is an amazing addition to Montrose, and we will be so sad when she leaves.
