As we all know, it is about that time again. This year’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream production has come and gone and what an amazing experience it was. The entire sixth grade class participated in this famous Shakespearean play, and it was truly incredible. We spent weeks memorizing our lines and the final product really paid off.
The sixth grade class was thrilled when they saw their costumes for the first time. Rehearsals were filled with so much enjoyment, that it barely felt like a class. So many hidden talents were displayed in this play, and I was so grateful to be a part of it. Many girls who already participated in Montrose theater had a whole new experience when rehearsing for this classic play. This was because we had a new rehearsal space and a different type of play. Many teachers, students, and parents attended the play to support the sixth grade, and we are all grateful for their support. Our director, Ms. Allen, who joined Montrose just this year, did an amazing job as our director. It was truly an excellent production, from the memorization of difficult lines to the elaborate costumes and stellar performances. I can’t wait to see this tradition return next year!
