There’s a Looking Glass editor, Allison Knight,
Whose creativity always shines bright.
For two years exciting
She’s edited writing
Now we watch as she takes flight.
Off to Ringling College for animation
(A hobby that fills her with elation)
Allie takes her skill
With ink and quill
To a whole new level of stunning creation.
If you’ve ever attended a Montrosian play
You’ve seen Allie’s work on full display:
Mountains and trees
She paints with ease–
Even a train car she well can portray!
A talented member of the Montrose tech crew,
Allie’s moved sets and been stage manager too.
For productions three
To this she’s agreed;
With her leadership, acting dreams came true!
The range of her hobbies and talents is wide
From knitting to writing and drawing beside.
A wonderful artist
She’s taking the hardest
Montrosian art class in its stride.
Her AP Portfolio showcases her skill:
Colorful pencil the artwork does fill.
An important theme
In her work can be seen
Of how technology our lives can’t fulfill.
Looking Glass and the Walrus will miss Allie’s smile,
Her cheer, creativity, and writing style.
We wish she could be here
In our clubs next year
But we know her pursuits are worthwhile.
Allie, we wish you good luck, and have fun!
Your place in our hearts can be taken by no one.
Enjoy Ringling College
Safe in the knowledge
Of all the wonderful things you’ve already done.
